There are actual, neurobiological reasons why people can't "just get over it." Stress and trauma literally change the brain, which in turn changes the body and creates cascading problems affecting our ability to feel good, function well, make good choices, manage our emotions, learn, and/or do well in relationships. Traditional counseling and talk therapy aren't always effective. Why? Because brain-based problems require brain-based solutions. Brainwork Healing Center™, LLC uses Brain Integrated Healing™. Brain Integrated Healing™ uses multiple evidence-based modalities rooted in neuroscience to heal the underlying psychological, neurobiological, and physiological, effects of trauma and stress.
Brainwork Healing Center™, LLC uses cutting edge advancements in neuroscience and neurobiology; the latest research in psychotraumatology; and evidence-based practices, such as EMDR, Flash Technique, NMT™ and aspects of somatic psychotherapy and dialectical behavior therapy; to strategically and more efficiently treat the somatic, social, emotional, behavioral and cognitive effects of traumatic stress. Treatment is individually tailored for each client and focused on targeting regions of the brain in a reparative and sequenced way. This brain-based protocol in turn fosters healing of both the body and brain and helps reduce problematic symptoms more quickly than traditional counseling and talk therapy alone.
At Brainwork Healing Center™, LLC our approach to therapy is rooted in kindness, empathy, compassion, and non-judgment. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings, where they can develop the skills needed to thrive, and where they can heal. Our goal is to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in trauma treatment, in order to facilitate the greatest results in the shortest period of time. We work extremely hard, so you don't have to.
